1. Introduction
This policy explains how neverforgetnames.com collects, uses and protects your personal data when you visit this site, sign up for the free workshop, or buy the paid Full System. I only collect what I need, and I handle it responsibly.
2. Who I am
This site is run by Pascal Hausberger, based in Spain (European Union). I am the controller of your personal data. For any privacy question, email hello@neverforgetnames.com.
3. What data I collect
- Sign-up data: your first name and email address when you register for the workshop. Kit also records whether you open or click my emails.
- Purchase data: when you buy the Full System, Stripe collects your name, email, billing details and payment details. I receive your name, email, billing country or address, the amount and tax paid, and the payment status. I never see your full card number.
- Messages: whatever you send me by email, including support questions.
- Live sessions: if you join on Zoom, I see the name you join with. The second hour is recorded. The recording can include your voice, your video and your chat messages if you turn on your camera or microphone or write in the chat. If you would rather not appear in it, leave your camera and microphone off and send questions by email.
- Usage and ad data: how you use this site and how my ads perform, collected through Google Analytics and Meta Pixel, only if you accept the matching cookie category. Meta Pixel uses a feature called automatic advanced matching. If you accept marketing cookies, it can read details you type into forms on this site, such as your email address and first name, and send them to Meta in scrambled (hashed) form. Meta uses them to match your visit to your Facebook or Instagram account and to measure my ads.
- Technical data: my hosting provider logs standard server information such as your IP address, browser and the pages you open, to run and secure the site. The intro video is hosted by Wistia and loads only when you press play. I run it in Wistia's privacy mode, so Wistia anonymizes IP addresses and does not use session or cookie tracking.
4. Why I use it, and on what basis
- To send your Zoom link, reminders and follow-up emails about this workshop, the Full System and future workshops. Basis: your sign-up and your consent, which you confirm by email.
- To deliver what you buy, give support and handle refunds. Basis: the contract between us.
- To keep payment and tax records. Basis: legal obligation.
- To measure traffic and ad performance, including matching visits to Meta accounts through automatic advanced matching. Basis: your consent through the cookie banner.
- To run and secure the site. Basis: my legitimate interest in keeping it working and safe.
5. Cookies
Necessary cookies, which remember your cookie choice, are always on. Google Analytics and Meta Pixel only load after you accept their category in the cookie banner, and automatic advanced matching only runs once Meta Pixel has loaded. You can review or change your choice at any time with "Cookie preferences" in the footer. The intro video loads from Wistia only when you press play. It runs in Wistia's privacy mode, which turns off session and cookie tracking. The player may still keep small bits of data in your browser to work, such as your playback position.
6. Tools I use
- Kit (formerly ConvertKit): manages my email list and sends my emails.
- Stripe: takes and processes payments, and sends your receipt.
- Zoom: hosts the live sessions and records the second hour.
- Google Drive: delivers the free guide, the template and recordings through unlisted links.
- Wistia: hosts the intro video, which loads when you press play.
- Netlify: hosts this website.
- Google Analytics: optional, consent-based measurement of traffic.
- Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland Limited): optional, consent-based measurement of ads, including automatic advanced matching. Meta and I are jointly responsible for collecting this data and sending it to Meta. Meta then uses it under its own privacy policy.
7. Sharing and international transfers
I do not sell, trade or rent your personal data. I share it only with the tools above, or where the law requires it.
If you send me a support question, I may answer it in an email or recording that goes to all buyers. I will not include your name or email address in it unless you ask me to.
Several of these tools are based outside the EU and the UK, mainly in the United States. They process data under appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
8. How long I keep it
- Sign-up and email data: until you unsubscribe or ask me to delete it.
- Payment and tax records: for as long as the law requires.
- Support emails: for as long as needed to help you.
- Recordings: for as long as I offer the Full System. If you appear in one and want to be removed, email me and I will edit or delete the parts with you in them.
9. Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask to access, correct, delete or restrict your data, object to how I use it, receive a copy of it, and withdraw your consent at any time. Email hello@neverforgetnames.com, or use the unsubscribe link in any email from Kit. If you believe your rights have been violated, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, aepd.es) or to your local authority, such as the ICO in the UK.
10. Security
I use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. Payments go through Stripe, so your card details never touch this site.
11. Children
This site is for adults. I do not knowingly collect data from children.
12. Updates to this policy
I may update this policy. The new version will be published on this page with a new date.
